Sunday School
	The Bible is the cornerstone of the mission and ministries of Fredericksburg Baptist Church. The study of the Bible is the central focus of our Sunday School. Each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m., groups of preschoolers, kindergarteners, children, youth and adults meet to study the scriptures, to fellowship, and to serve. In this context, we do more than learn about the Bible. Our study is based upon the strong belief that God’s eternal truths as recorded in the scriptures dynamically interact with the persistent needs and dreams that are a part of everyday life. We believe that the Bible can inform our thoughts, attitudes, and actions as Christians in the world today. If you or the members of your family have not yet become involved in a Sunday School class, we invite you to come and participate. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Welcome Center, located inside the entrance between the two buildings on Princess Anne Street. Our Welcome Center Staff will help you find an appropriate class.
Classes for babies through high school are age graded and feature nurturing, teaching and activities appropriate for each age group. The adult Sunday School options features classes for adults from college age to senior adults. The classes are not structured strictly by age and several options are available. Visitors are encouraged to visit as many different classes as they like in order to find a class that meets their needs for study and fellowship. Most adult classes use literature published by the Baptist publishing houses of Smyth and Helwys and Lifeway. Some classes from time to time may deviate from the structured materials and pursue independent Bible studies that they and their teacher are interested in.
