The Potter's House Preschool
The preschool offers a full-time infant program for infants ages 6 weeks-12 months. This class meets Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
The preschool offers a full-time toddler program for children who are walking AND 12 months-36 months old. This class meets Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am-5:00pm. And, beginning Fall 2015 we will be offering full-time care from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday.
Two-Year-Old ProgramThe preschool offers 3 options for 2 year olds. We a offer two-day program that meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm. We offer a three day program that meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm. And, beginning fall 2015 we will be offering full-time care from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Three-Year-Old ProgramThe preschool offers a three-day program that meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-12pm. And, beginning Fall 2015, we will be offering full-time care from 9am-5pm. Children must be potty-trained to be enrolled in this class.
Four-Year-Old ProgramThe preschool offers both a three-day program and a five-day program that meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Monday-Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm respectively. And, beginning Fall 2015, we will be offering full-time care from 9am-5pm.
Extended day programThe preschool offers an extended day option for 3 year old and 4 years olds. On Monday and Wednesday, those students already enrolled in a 9:00am-12:00pm program can choose to stay until 2:00pm for additional instruction time. Beginning Fall 2015 the extended day program will be offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
early morning drop-off programThe preschool offers early morning drop off for all enrolled students. Once enrolled in the program, children may be dropped off at 8:30am in the playroom with two preschool teachers. Shortly before classes begin at 9:00am children will be escorted to their classrooms by a teacher.
additional program informationThe preschool is regulated by the Virginia Department of Social Services and uses the Easy Breezy Preschool Curriculum as well as the Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum. Students are introduced to themes about the home, family, community, animals, and much more. A special emphasis of the program is on the child and God and children participate in a weekly worship experiences where they are invited to sing, listen to a Bible story, and explore the church Sanctuary.
