Programs Three programs serve as the backbone of the work of Fredericksburg Baptist Church. These programs are Sunday School, Missions, and Music.
	Sunday School The Bible is the cornerstone of the mission and ministries of Fredericksburg Baptist Church. The study of the Bible is the central focus of our Sunday School Program. Each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m., groups of preschoolers, kindergarteners, children, youth and adults meet to study the scriptures, to fellowship, and to serve. In this context, we do more than learn about the Bible. Our study is based upon the strong belief that God’s eternal truths as recorded in the scriptures dynamically interact with the persistent needs and dreams that are a part of everyday life. We believe that the Bible can inform our thoughts, attitudes, and actions as Christians in the world today.
	Missions Fredericksburg Baptist Church is a community of faith that supports missions. Members of our congregation have served as volunteer missionaries in mission action projects locally and globally. FBC is a community leader in addressing issues of homelessness and hunger and sponsors a community meal each Thursday night that is free to the community. The church also participates with the Micah Ecumenical Ministries, an association of area churches committed to being the face of Christ to those members of our community experiencing hunger, homelessness, poverty, and related social issues.
	Music From our earliest recollection of childhood songs like "Jesus Loves Me" and singing hymns in worship experiences, we began creating musical memories for our soul. These memories of "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs" help us through life as we draw upon the scriptural truths and promises of our Lord. The Music Program of Fredericksburg Baptist Church offers such experiences through its experiential and educational opportunities. Music offers a variety of avenues to enhance and express our faith through music. Children, youth and adults are invited to participate through the choral and instrumental groups.
